Belgian Government : Not Found!
The Belgian Government is falling for the third time in three years time. I decided to do a viral and test out the power of the social media.
Ok, so I want to see how many people I can get to a domain name by just using social media and some SEO.
First I registered a new domain name www.belgian-government.be. I created a small site that shows an error page with the text Belgian Government : 404 : Not found.
I then went ahead with posting it on twitter in a few fierce debates on the matter. It was picked up immediately and retweeted and retweeted. See Twitter search results.
With the help of a good friend and SEO expert (Thierry De Marre), we tweaked the page to reach maximum potential.
So, let's see if we can get this to first place in google search results when looking for Belgian Government.
